"And they were all young men (and young women), and they were exceedingly valiant for courage, and also for strength and activity; but behold, this was not all- they were men (and women) who were true at all times in whatsoever thing they were entrusted."

Buenos Dias (October 25, 2010)

Hey familia.  Sounds like you had a crazy week last week.  I'm glad that you all keep busy :)
The work's getting better. We had some more lessons and we're finding more people.  We just hope and pray that some of them progress- read, pray, come to church.  There's a lot of sifting that happens as you find more investigators.  Most of the new investigators don't make it past the Restoration- they don't have time, aren't there for their next appts, etc, etc.  But asi es, that's how it is.  And then every once and a while you find someone really great, but you still planted a lot of seeds in many other people and you have faith that one day they'll come around.
While we didn't have any investigators at church this week, we did have 5 less active members come!!!  That's always so exciting!  One less active member we're working with- Mike, the one that hasn't been to church since he was 8- came in a new shirt and tie!  We felt like proud parents!  He is so amazing and brightens our day.  He says the most sincere prayers and this last week we mentioned that tranfers are coming up and one of us might leave so he prayed that we could stay together.  He's really great and we have hopes of him one day going on a mission!  :)
Ivy is still so amazing and I love that I get to see her still on Sundays.  She also calls and leaves nice messages on our phone too.  She keeps reading and praying and has such great faith.  I don't know if I mentioned but she even told us she wants to serve a mission!!!  Isn't that awesome?!
The work keeps moving forward and we'll see what happens.  Tranfers are a week away and we're already getting nervous about what will happen.  We have no idea, as usual.
I love you all soooooooooo much and appreciate your prayers, letters, and support.  thanks for everything and keep being good missionaries and disciples of Jesus Christ.
Love,
Hermana Hatch
